There are times as designer that you just want to design something to show someone else other possibilities for the same event. Here are mine. They ended up going with another designer/vendor since they offered to donate it, so I guess I don't really feel like I've wasted that much time. How can you compete with free? If you or a school needs a Think Pink game shirt, let me know. I've got some art you can use.

Been a bit busy over the past several months. Here is my latest sorority shirt design. This design is for Bid Night and for the Think Pink Basketball Game. They are Gildan 200L Ladies Cut Purple shirts with hot pink and metallic silver. The girls seem thrilled to have them. I am super excited to see them printed! All the artwork was illustrated digitally by me.

Girls Day Design Development
Tonight, I am trying my hardest to get a theme logo designed for an event called Girls Day. I am at the point in the process where I should probably take a break and let the ideas marinate for a bit, but I wanted to show where I am now and what I've been told they want. First, here's a bit of information about the event.
One Saturday in early August, a church will host an event for several other church groups of ladies and girls at their building for an all day lecture style event. Every year the theme has been given to me and I've not had issues with designing because they knew exactly what they wanted and I executed it. This year it is a bit different. The theme is "The Lord is My Rock." They are interested in using nature colors like green, blue, and brown with a tree, rock and an owl thrown in there somewhere. Below I'll show you what I've got for inspiration. I think I need to go and spend some serious time with my sketch book trying to figure this one out. I'll also try to post a couple of ideas that I'm toying with and are most certainly not finished. I hope by throwing this out there, I'll get some feedback or I'll at least get another idea once I think about it more.

Here is some purchased art for the shirt.

Here are a few type ideas. Remember that these are very rough.

Web site
I am FINALLY getting my site together. I have some solid sketches and a solid logo designed on paper. I hope to actually get something on the computer soon. It will be nice to break away from my facebook album as my only visual portfolio. We shall see what comes of this version of my site.

Recent Design Work
For many of you, you have wondered what I actually do at my day job. I mainly create teacher classroom decor and items that Elementary Schools use daily. Below are a few examples that have been found at The Dollar Tree. All of the images were taken from my camera at home from purchased samples. The art is ©The Clever Factory.
Fall Display "Busy Bees"
Dimensional Door Decor
This item actually is is 3D and is usually hung on classroom doors.
There are several more pieces that go in this set that I didn't have the opportunity to buy before they were out. I am sure that they live in classrooms across the U.S.
